Scope of Services:

This is a run-of-river hydropower project located on the river Sehile Da Khata a right bank tributary of Jhelum River about 6 km from the town of Muzaffarabad, AJK, Pakistan. The feasibility study was carried out by Pakistan Engineering Services under the supervision of Technical Engineering Services Pakistan who worked as Owner Engineer. The project envisages a diversion weir at Sehile Da Khatha concrete power canal of 7 km length with discharge capacity of 1.16 m3/s. The project is also equipped with gravel and sand trap. Forebay is proposed at the end of power canal and house penstock intake. Penstck having dia of 0.65 m lead the water to powerhouse. Powerhouse is normal open type and house two numbers Pelton Turbine of 2.7 MW capacity each. The project is proposed to connected at Muzaffarabad (132 KV) through 33 KV Transmission line of 7 km length.

Scope of Services:

Lawi Hydropower project is located 40km short of Chitral city which is the northern most district of KPK of Pakistan. Lawi hydro Power project of installed capacity of 69MW has been planned on Shishi river, a left bank tributary of Chitral River by utilizing a gross head of 413m and discharge of 20 m3/s to generate approx. 303GWh annual energy. The project has a headrace tunnel of 11 km. A fixed concrete weir is proposed on Shishi river near lao Nassar village to divert maximum of 20 m3/s discharge of water to a headrace tunnel which will carry it near Lawi village from where pressure shaft and tunnel will bring these flows down to the powerhouse.

This is a run of river type hydropower project. The project site is located at RD 130+000 of Upper Chenab Canal Lower approximately 600 in downstream of existing fall structure at RD 128+00 in the bed of the canal towards the left bank of the canal and about 8 km from Gujranwala Town. The powerhouse & spillway is placed adjacently along the same axis & will be constructed in the By Pass. The powerhouse is equipped with two Horizontal Kaplan Turbines with a capacity of 5.4MW. The available design discharge is 150m3/s, and rated head net 4.3m. The total energy output will be 32.7 GWh and the implementation time is estimated as 52 month.

This is a run of river type hydropower project. The project site is located at RD 114+00 of Pakpattan Canal about 12km from Pakpattan Town. The powerhouse is located at the same RD approximately 500m in downstream of the existing fall structure at RD 112+350. The powerhouse & spillway is placed adjacently along the same axis & will be constructed in the By Pass. The owerhouse is containing two Horizontal Kaplan Turbines with a capacity of 3.2MW. The available design discharge is 84m3/s, and rated head net 4.53m. The total energy output will be 22.7 GWh and the implementation time is estimated as 52 month.

This is a run of river type hydropower project. The project site is located at RD 2+500 of Upper Chenab Canal Main approximately 760 Meter downstream of the existing head regulator at RD 0+300 & about 25 km from Sialkot Town. The powerhouse & spillway is placed adjacently along the same axis & will be constructed in the By Pass. Powerhouse is equipped with four Horizontal Kaplan Turbines with a combined capacity of 7.2MW. The available design discharge is 350m3/s, and rated head net 2.56m. The total energy output will be 48.52 GWh and the implementation time is estimated as 52 months.

The powerhouse is located at RD 282+225 approximately 400m in Upstream of the existing fall structure at RD 283+100 in the bed of the canal towards the right bank of the canal. The powerhouse & spillway is placed adjacently along the same axis & will be constructed in the By Pass. The powerhouse is equipped with two Horizontal Kaplan Turbines with a capacity of 5.0MW. The available design discharge is 150m3/s, and rated head net 4.02m. The total energy output will be 29.13 GWh and the implementation time is estimated as 52 months.

Scope of Services:

This is a run-of-river hydropower project located on the Nalter river, a left bank tributary of Hunza River near Gilgit city, Northern Areas, Pakistan. Preliminary studies of Nalter -V was first mentioned as part of the master plan for electrification of Northern Areas of Pakistan on the basis of proximity power. The project envisages a Tyrolean type diversion weir across Nalter Gah which diverts water in to concrete lined power canal of 450 m length. The gravel and sand trap is also provided. The forebay is provided at the end of power canal. A 4.12 km steel Penstock link the forebay and powerhouse. The discharge and head is 9.45 m3/s and 309.75 m, respectively. The powerhouse is open type and will house three numbers Pelton wheel. The project will be connected to local network
